Pegasus Project

Main mission

Launched in 2018, the Pegasus project is For Equity's main project in Switzerland , and combines two missions aimed at working in synergy .

On the one hand, it helps many people in difficulty, including the elderly, those with disabilities, or those in precarious situations . This help takes the form of deliveries of food and medicine for these people with severely reduced mobility, as well as financial participation when necessary. Each month, an average of fifty races are carried out.

On the other hand, these races are carried out in the company of a team of about ten young people with autism spectrum disorders from the Lausanne region. This activity allows them to integrate into society and offers them a personal recognition that is sometimes hard to find for them within our society.

Other actions

In addition to the main mission presented above, the Pegasus project also allows For Equity to get involved in other causes , always with the aim of supporting the most deprived.

One of these auxiliary activities is the collection of clothing and food from private donors. These are sent to a bartering center located in La Bourdonnette, in Lausanne, and allow many people in precarious situations to benefit from them.

This project is also very useful for providing assistance during emergency situations. This was particularly the case during the Covid-19 crisis , during which we were particularly active in delivering food and medicine to people who were confined or at risk .

Another activity organized as part of the Pegasus project is the Solidarity Tree, a collection and delivery of Christmas gifts for children's homes in precarious situations.
