Solidarity travels

For several years, the Association For Equity has been enabling young students from the Lausanne region to go abroad to carry out solidarity projects.

They select several projects to support schools, health-related actions, or simply to help populations in need. Then, during several months, they collect funds in order to finance this trip and bring the help they have chosen.

It is with a desire to share and discover that these young people decide to leave. They live in permanent contact with these families who welcome them in the very places of the projects they support.

For Equity distinguishes itself in several ways:

  • By mentoring and accompanying the students throughout the fundraising period

  • By giving participants the benefit of the field experience of its members

  • By providing adequate and safe hosting facilities

  • By providing its network of contacts in Switzerland and in the field
